Job Summary: Project Manager – Electric Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, track, and budget activities and resources for electric infrastructure projects.

Ensure on-time and within-budget project completion.

Collaborate with internal management, consultants, contractors, members, and authorities to coordinate work and resolve issues.

Manage project scope through change orders and amendments.

Prepare and archive performance and financial reports on project status.

Review project expenditures, invoices, timesheets, contributions, and transactions.

Organize meetings and assign responsibilities across design, engineering, permitting, and construction phases.

Coordinate reconciliation of expenditures and final billing with Engineering and Finance teams.

Develop and document Construction Work Plans and respond to management inquiries.

Serve as a liaison between Engineering, Finance, and Operations to execute and monitor projects.

Understand RUS work plan and construction loan requirements.

Evaluate engineering designs, material specs, cost estimates, and permitting processes.

Use project management software (Monday.com) and Microsoft Office tools.

Develop processes to improve project tracking, reporting, and documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) or Construction Management.

3–5 years of large project management experience required; 5–7 years preferred.

PMP certification preferred.

PE licensure in Georgia preferred.

Strong coordination, communication, and project management skills.

Proficient with analytical, financial, and project management software.

Knowledge of RUS standards, NESC, and related codes beneficial.

Valid Georgia driver’s license; must pass physical and drug screening.
